My Motorcycle Days

My motorcycle days began in the summer of 1988 when my brother taught me how to ride.  I didn't have a motorcycle of my own but I rode one of his, and we rode together frequently.  I loved it!
Ready for a road trip!

Here's my Honda Magna, V30 !  Isn't she a beauty! The whole bike is bone stock, and in cherry condition.  It has a 500cc engine, which makes it the smallest of the Magna series, but it is perfect for a smaller rider, and what it lacks in torque, a rider can make up in skill, and I counted on that factor when riding with bigger, faster bikes.  Also,  I frequently rode with other lady riders, who invariable had big, bad Harleys,  but tended to be a bit more tentative riders and their big ol' bikes didn't have the maneuverability that mine did. It is important not to have too much bike; the rider and bike need to have a perfect balance of skill, size of rider and motorcycle performance, and I and my Honda did!  I had many a fast, swoopy ride on this little bike. I rode it to do errands, rode it to college, rode it to destress, and rode it for the best times I have had in my life!  I am sick that this part of my life is behind me.

Alas, the time came for me and my husband , Lance to sell all our possession, he sole his bike too, and get ready for our Ecuador Adventure...so someone else gets to love my motorcycle, dammit!.  I sold it to a young fellow in Richland, who got himself a fabulous, cream puff bike!
